Job Role Responsabilities

We are looking to grow our Compute Engineering team by bringing onboard a talented focused candidates with a degree in Engineering/IT or close to graduating to help design, build, and maintain compute systems that support our business operations.

• Responsible for deployment and maintenance of our on premise and cloud based server footprint, providing support to over vastly globally distributed sites. Our projects center on providing an up to date, performant and reliable environment for our corporate applications
• Participate in evaluating existing systems and processes to identify improvements and updates that keep them running in optimal conditions
• Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for globally distributed servers
• Provide problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems
• Provide support for the system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process
• Develop automation using modern configuration management tools
• Assist in hardening and securing the systems

Desired Skills

• Manage of automation tools/frameworks (Ansible, Puppet)
• Scripting experience (e.g. PowerShell, Python, Bash, Korn Shell)
• Source Code Management and Version Control (e.g. GitLab /GitHub)
• Monitoring tools (e.g. Splunk, Datadog, Wazuh, SCOM)
• Patch management (e.g. SCCM, RH Satellite)
• Virtualization, RedHat Enterprise Virtualization (KVM)
• Cloud experience (Azure preferred, AWS)
• Containers user level skills (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift)
• Active Directory/LDAP knowledge
• Data management user level skills (e.g. SQL)
• Web Server management (e.g. IIS / Apache / FLASK)
