About the vacancy

Our client is a global provider of testing, analytics, and security solutions for the telecommunications sector.

DataArt’s specialists are helping to develop an analytical solution that tracks transactions that determine the quality of customer experience with network service providers (QoE). From these transactions, key indicators are displayed, such as radio frequency performance, base signal speed, and service performance (VoLTE, SMS). All metrics are combined into the final QoE estimates used to determine hot spots and help localize and solve service quality problems.

We hire people, not for a project, but the company. If the project (or your work in it) is over, you go to another project or a paid “Idle”.

Responsibilities

  • Working with the on-site team, motivate and guide team members
  • Scheduling and designation of project tasks to team members
  • Involved in code review and guides on task implementation
  • Managing risks, expectations, and changes
  • Daily team management

Required Skills and Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in software developer role (Java, Python)
  • 2+ years of experience in managing IT projects
  • Telecom project management experience, preferably in operator environments
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, innovation, and the ability to motivate inspire, and lead cross-group/functional teams
  • Experience in applying flexible development methodologies (Agile, Kanban)
  • Understanding the stages of the software life cycle
  • Spoken English

Additional Competencies

  • Familiarity with network validation and troubleshooting tools
  • Experience working with clients: building a contact, managing expectations, getting feedback, discussing needs, and reporting
  • Experience with risk management
