Our client is a financial company that operates in Canada and the USA. We are developing multiple website platforms for end-users in order to make their financial operations easier. A big part of the platform is done on Salesforce, thus for our further staffing needs, we need people who can develop for it and also can support end users/operations during the client’s working hours.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Salesforce database administration tasks, including creating and maintaining workflows, custom fields, reports, dashboard design, and data flow management
  • Provide daily support for end-users (9 AM – 4 PM EST), including implementation, user adoption, system configuration and maintenance, formulas, testing, data integrity, backups, and others as identified
  • Utilize analytical skills to respond to requested additions/changes and identify customizations appropriately
  • Participate in communications with the client’s operational and main stakeholders
  • Analytics and report management
  • Identify operational risks and areas for improvement
  • Manage data import, deduplication, and database cleanup to ensure data accuracy

Required Skills and Experience

  • At least a year of experience in administering Salesforce.com or equivalent (workflows, page layouts, training, customizations, dashboards, record types, custom objects, validations, profiles, roles)
  • Experience in integrating third-party apps with Salesforce, Data Loader, Process Builder, Marketing, and Automation; technical expertise would be a plus
  • Ability to communicate in a proper manner with end users and a client’s operational staff
  • Responsible attitude to work and engineering-oriented thinking
  • Spoken English

Additional Competencies

  • Be able to design and document views, processes, fields, notifications, custom objects, page layouts, and workflows for specific departments
