The Sr. Project Manager will oversee and handle the operational aspects of ongoing projects, serving as liaison among project management and planning, project team and line management. We seek a professional who will provide strategic vision, reviewing the project proposal to resolve time frame, funding limitations and procedures for accomplishing the project. The person in this position will need to understand the role and function of each team member to effectively coordinate team activities, Influencing skills will be required for effective leadership across functions in a matrix management structure. Strong knowledge of stakeholder analysis and engagement will help deliver business results to the clients. These clients include but are not limited to the Finance, Human Resources, Sourcing & Procurement, Transportation & Logistics, Global Process Owner, and New Services leads.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Identify and resolve obstacles to completing project on time and to budget.
• Adhere to internal and external quality standards.
• Monitor and report on the status of projects including cost, timing and staffing.
• Organize project teams, assign individual responsibilities, develop project schedules, and resolve resource requirements.
• You will work under minimal supervision and independently handle complex issues while referring only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.
• Defines and/or Refine the scope of the project to be conducted.
• Assembles and lead project team.
• Assigns individual responsibilities.
• Identifies appropriate resources.
• Implements internal playbooks and Cargill Methodology to develop project plan.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• 5-7+ years of experience in Project Management
• Fluent in English and Spanish
• Manage global transformational / improvement projects.
• Experience leading multifunctional and multicultural teams
• Demonstrated success working independently in a remote, global environment
• Strong leadership capabilities with experience in building effective teams of domain experts and professionals.
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
• Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity and establish process and structure
• Able to multi-task, prioritize work and operate under tight deadlines
• Capable of leading, engaging and working with staff and other partners on process improvement and creative problem solving

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Project Management Professional Certified (PMP®) and Scrum Master Certified (SMC®)
• Program Management Expertise
• Experience in influencing and managing cross-functional teams with indirect reporting lines.
• Strong financial knowledge and practical business acumen.
• Track record of positively and effectively leading people through change
• Green Belt / Black Belt Six Sigma is a plus
