Be part of a Global Corporate Accounting & Reporting Team ; collaborate with domestic and international staff; third parties; Tax ; Treasury; Intercompany; Accounts Payable, Credit Cards & Fixed assets teams, and all global business units

The Impact: This position will be based in the Buenos Aires office and closely work with the Buenos Aires finance team as well as regional and global stakeholders. You will be responsible for all the tasks related to Account Payables (AP) including taxes, Travel & Entertainment (T&E) and Fixed Assets (FA).  You will have to ensure that invoices include all required information; are processed properly and the payments are made on time. You will also be responsible for preparing and posting journal entries related to AP, T&E and FA, to reconcile accounts balances related to the process under her/his responsibility and to provide support in the monthly accounting close. Ensure compliance with corporate policies and SOX controls. Assist in any other ad-hoc finance projects as and when assigned.

.Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable

  • Be aware of the monthly posting schedules to ensure all invoices are delivered and processed on time.
  • Ensure all the AP reconciliations are made timely.

Travel & Entertainment and Purchasing Card

  • Review reports to ensure they are in accordance to the Corporate T&E policy and to local regulations.
  • Process T&E Credit Card Payments.
  • Reconcile the Credit Card payment with Concur reports.
  • Be the local point of contact with employees and the Global Credit Card Team.

Fixed assets

  • Ensure all new assets and disposals are reported and booked on time.
  • Reconcile the FA module and maintain the local FA detail.
  • Account analysis and reconciliation.

 

What We’re Looking For   

Public Accountant with experience in Accounts Payable or Big Four accounting firms

  • Personal Organization: Keeps information organized and accessible, works systematically/efficiently and manages time well.
  • Problem Solving/Analysis: Breaks down problems into smaller components, understands underlying issues, can simplify and process complex issues, understands the difference between critical details and unimportant facts.
