Your Role and Responsibilities

Your Tasks

• You design architectural blueprints & drive technical leadership within the development, design and engineering team.
• You will guide and coach development and functional teams to meet specific solution requirements using proven architecture methods.
• You will participate in analysis requirements with our customers and develop a common understanding of future business and IT processes.
• You take ownership of product quality, reliability, efficiency security & performance.
• You work with Kyndryl experts and Partners to develop strategies for our clients in their transformation to cloud, either integrating Mainframe Infrastructure using modern technologies or migrating their workloads to a different platform.
• Agile work is natural for you. (Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban)
• You are actively involved in our professional Kyndryl internal technical communities.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Your Profile

• Professional experience: at least 5 years working as Software Architect , and 3 years experience in leading projects and teams as Senior.
• Deep knowledge about design patterns and architecture of software applications.
• Mainframe architecture and components Knowledge (end to end online transaction and batch processing within Mainframe environment).
• Strong understanding of Enterprise Architecture Management aspects such as Business Model of IT, Application & Technology Landscape and IT Operating Model.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technology solutions.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, problem solving, collaboration and communication skills.
• Broad understanding of Cloud providers, brokers, Integration technologies and approaches.
• Language skills: Fluent Spanish and English speaking.
• High willingness to explore and learn new products and solutions.
• Skilled in complex code bases, large systems, & version control systems like Git.
• Experience in integrating APIs.
• Experience with distributed CI/CD solutions.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• Experience with data modeling, database design, & service-oriented architecture.
• Experience in working in multiple medium to large projects, including application transformation projects with development teams.
• Experience in integrating Mainframe data and services with hybrid cloud SaaS solutions.
• Experience in IT / digital technologies solution/service development.
• Experience with (SDLC) software development lifecycle processes.
• Experience of working in multi-cultural teams / international environment.
