The Vendor Manager Associate is responsible for recruiting, onboarding and engaging global suppliers, helping internal departments with specific sourcing needs, and making sure our vendor database is reliable in terms of quality, availability, profile details, and documentation in place.

The Vendor Manager Associate is responsible for recruiting, onboarding and engaging global suppliers, helping internal departments with specific sourcing needs, and making sure our vendor database is reliable in terms of quality, availability, profile details, and documentation in place. The job description of the Vendor Manager Associate can include the following responsibilities: 

Global Vendor Recruitment and Onboarding 

• Attract new candidates using numerous sourcing channels and methodologies for continuous pipeline generation; 
• Develop and maintain a continually stocked pipeline of quality talent through various methods, including, but not limited to, networking within the community, contacting and/or visiting universities, attending local job fairs, and fostering continued contact with quality candidates who may qualify for future positions; 
• Utilize social media and industry forums to attract new talent;  
• Onboard new vendors following ISO compliance process.

Ongoing Vendor Management 

• Price negotiation 
• Availability updates 
• Communication and engagement
• Addition of new services 
• Analysis of assignments, punctuality, compliance

Requirements to be Successful in this Role

Formal Education

Advanced student or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Translation, Interpretation, Business Administration, or related fields.

Background

• Previous experience in a similar industry is not necessary but is highly desired
• Experience working in an international environment with remote workers is a plus
